Crap Evil or Very Mad Ok, I will fix that.
I used this teleporter to quickly test the last rooms, instead of walking all these miles all over again.
Damn my brains need a firmware update very badly. How could I forgot that!

Hm... and yes perhaps I should listen a bit more to others.

Edit#2, this final version has some extra monsters(Some told me a few parts were a bit empty) and has the teleporter removed, and yes and Endboss.
I wil rebuild the map for 1 last time, to fix the lift hole.
Then it is 100%.

About that board: To me it looks just normal (see my previous posts). And those ambient sounds is not really important when you play with a full server.
Jumping, shooting, taunting etc....

No, won't make any changes anymore in this version.Final = Final
The map is finished, and runs nice and smooth.
Otherwise I should bring out another and another and another final.... no....... this is just fine.

This version is just perfect, I think.

Gamefront didn't like the "%" character you put in the filename. Page got buggy and difficult to access.
Uploaded to test serv.

The idea's of (pre)releasing beta's is to fix bugs until nobody could find more, and not to add new rooms or stuff unless really needed. Which version is on the mapping server now? Still v2?

What;s the status of the teleport to B2? Your last mentioning of it is that you couldn't find the problem but is it fixed now?

It's a pity though you removed the last titan, I liked the fight and the room (although I stick to my opinion that it had too much health).


The latest version looks good, well done and I'm looking forward to the next project.

Current version on test server is the latest one. 2nd teleporter is working, and the titan boss was put back in a new room along with 2 big skaarjs.

Just played the map and I really like it.

I didn't encounter any bugs so for me it's ready to go to the main server.

There are some possible small tweaks though
- The huge monsters have too much health, it might be ok with 12 players but then some of the corridors, like the first, might feel cramped.
- The Skaarj before the boat were stuck together the two times I played the map, also they are quite big (physically) but two headshots kill them.
- The gasbags above the behemoths might be a little more aggressive, they are quite easy to shoot from a distance and don't attack back.
- Also at that boint you may want to spread the titans a bit so they'll be more likely to approach past the crates
- The two huge skaarj, at the titan room, have pretty weak projectiles, a bit more damage would be nice, yet not so much it kills you instantly

I like the gameplay in the corridors with the crates/dirt/crystals that give some cover (for both yourself and the monsters) but they tend to block the monsters a bit too much. You have to lure them past the obstacles to keep them advancing and playing alone it was pretty easy to hold them back, playing with more players there's often some idiot (most likely me) who jumps in front of them and lures them. It's a nice point for some tower defense type of gameplay but there should be some challenge. I hope you get what I mean here.

Looks  are outstanding, especially the room with the secret, I also like the inner ring at the Warlord and the boatride. Most of the storage rooms look decent but I guess that's what storage rooms look like. Some of the "in betweens", e.g. between the boat and the queen storage room look a bit too plain.

Anyway, that's just my two cents on how I like my gameplay and maps, different players, different styles. Unfortunately many seem to like fighting huge warlords in unaspiring boxes...

Some tips (but I think most of those you did pretty well in your lasts maps):
- Keep making what YOU want, not what we want
- Yet listen to our advice
- Keep an eye on the continuity of the design
- Keep an eye on variation in gameplay
- add z-axis
- be creative
- maybe change setting, not a crystalmine4

According to your forum posts it's been a tough ride to get to the point the map is now. I hope it was worth it and I think you can be very proud of the result. I'm looking forward to your next project.

A great map. Played it earlier with Fazi, Terraniux, and a few others.. Fun map, and loved the scenes at the end..

Hhm..... played the map a few times on main server now.... and they really like it.
They only wished that the map had more monsters.... other than that.... it is a great map.
Good to know.... for my next project.
