Alright so why making a thread for that? And why reviving this map in the first place?
Because it's interesting in multiple ways. And even if you don't care about the whole crap maps joke, I'm proud of the gameplay this map has in some parts, and I actually enjoy to play it in a serious way. Much like WASTED for others minus the 50Mb unnecessary downloads and the gratuitous cruelty to newcomers (heh, this one is

, now that I've learnt how scripts worked. I actually started delving into UScript for MH-Retarded. Making MH-Terraniux in between with custom mercenaries plus other scary things you haven't seen yet was only accidental because of what MH-Retarded made me do.

PERSISTENT MUSIC
. Most of you don't care, and I don't care you don't, because you're not alone. I made a little thing that
memorizes the song being played in the level for the players who join late or reconnect
, which normally results in having the starting song played instead of the current one.
- That's right, the map now has music. From the maps it parodies, and played at the most fitting moments when possible.
Texture and lighting have been redone in several areas to match with the music played
(i.e. ambient lighting for EscapeTheMassive, walls of water for WASTED, etc.).
Maps parodied are announced at the end.

No more spawkill from the brutes at the start of the map. Same number of monsters but only melee attack
this time. You still get killed if you rush out like an idiot but mistakes are a lot easier to manage than they were.

Fish boss damage reduction
so that you don't have to die if you hadn't speed relic.

Traps in the blackout maze will now only kill the instigator instead of the entire team
(I'll miss this, was the most unique feature of the map).
No need to find the hidden switch anymore, the exit simply opens when all monsters in the maze are dead.

Minor projectile change on the fat merc boss.

No more redeemer laming at skaarjs
, since no more redeemers at all and anti redeemer grates in case of random redeemer.

Max skaarjs in the spawning room reduced
from 24 (rofl) to 10. Bosses unchanged.

Added 2 Invulnerabilities. 1st one at skaarj boss
, 20 secs duration 200 secs respawn.
2nd one at green titans
, 30 secs duration 300 secs respawn. Remember that actual times are 10% shorter from the hardcore game mode setting.
I'll be updating the User Friendly Edition from this one (new looks but with the same difficulty as before). However I think the regular edition is now definitely dead given it's the same thing except a lot more boring unless you have a team of 15 people, which will never happen again. I suppose I can still update it for exhibition or something.
EDIT: okay so white is getting really painful for the eyes on this background, so let's go with green.
EDIT-2: let's not. Grey is cool.

I screwed that because you weren't even fighting anymore with this. I made several versions like that that I didn't keep because of the abuses that made the fighting tactic really poor.
EDIT: alright, updated to beta02 because I tried to do the fish part with speed relic and I died to the boss. :[
Even with a lower speed than normal fishes he still catches you. Jesus. So I nerfed him again.
That's not so much a problem for normal games where people will lame it with rippers bounces (ATA OMGs style) but for solos when you
don't
want to lame it.
Also removed the stupid flak chunks that you could see/hear at spawn at the beginning of the game.

Beta03 because for some reason, brutes at start have become super aggressive since last time. So I calmed them down. Tiny tweak mostly for solo plays.
