Transform it into a indexed 256 coloured layer, and save it as .pcx

I prepared my 512x512 256-indexed texture with no background (tiled as you said) but when I export to .pcx the background turns White.. ??

If this doesnt work, you might need a older version of your program, since the cs3, cs4 cs5 ( or probably all modern programs of "now" aren't compatible anymore,  ( the sheet stays black no matter what ).

I use GIMP, maybe I should try another program..

I'm very glad to ear this Terraniux!
btw i have played MH-Blue-Atrium and i find it very nice-to-play, simple and player-friendly. there is a good rate of monsters without spamming. don't worry if it seems short, personally i prefer a well-designed short map rather than giant cubic room with 2hours of mindless monsters Killing..

PostForum: Mapping Development and Skinning   Posted: Wed Aug 21, 2013 12:42 am   Subject: importing into "MyLevel"
I have some custom textures that i want use in my map but i don't want send too much files, so instead of creating a custom package I've imported them directly into "MyLevel". (what a nice feature!!)
Now questions are:

1) - is possible to insert custom scripts into mylevel?
Example: i have edited 2 or 3 line of code of the flak to change it's bullets and textures. How I import it into mylevel so everyone that play the map can grab that amazing weapon?

2) - is also possible to import meshes into mylevel? How?

Love you,
Junglejei

EDIT: Importing custom subclasses in MyLevel is POSSIBLE!
1.Open the Actor Classes browser.
2.Click on the class that will be the parent of your new class.
3.Do Actor Classes Browser Menu -> Class -> New...
4.In the dialog box that appears: Enter a package name (use MyLevel if you want to save the new class within the currently open map).

Thank you Terraniux, i've made some tests and i figured out something interesting: the RespawnTime property works only for weapons under the "TournamentWeapon" class and subclasses..  o_O

EDIT: to DoDo.. Thank you that`s what i need!! (tested now: work only on "TournamentWeapon" class & subclasses like the RespawnTime)

Hello guys i have another question for you!
I'm able to set the respawn time of ammo actors and it works but when i change the same inventory parameter (RespawnTime) on weapon actors it wont work.. I searched the web a bit and someone said that u need to make another class and modify the code . Is that true? I need spawns with very little delay (or better not at all) so all the players can equip themselves, but coding is a bit advanced for me..

Any advice?

hello guys! i was wondering how to insert a trigger that shows a certain message in the middle of the screen. Something like "good work, now find the portal".
I used to edit the showMessage trigger's property but with bad results.. the message shows up in the top left corner of the screen and it's very small..
any advice?

P.S. sorry the noob question, and my bad english.
P.P.S. thanks for the answers!

I play for the maps itself to get inspired and be amazed.  I want to get the play the map as it should be and share the feeling that the mapper has intented for us to have. Having a watchfull eye to notice the time he or she has spent to make certain things.  It stimulates the mapping attitude too.
So basicly, I don't care about score and the monsters themselves. I care about the world they are placed in, thats why I play MH.

same!
mapping rocks!
