The test server is open to all players.
Ultimately, deciding which maps are approved and for which servers belongs to BlackWolf. Nonetheless, players are welcome to help with testing, and their feedback can help influencing the result.
Discuss here maps played on test server. General opinion, questions, bugs, possible improvements, whatever. |

MH-HelmIsDeep2010-Fix3[THUNDERBOLT] should be tested with >2 Players! Its not easy with 1-2 players and take a long time to got it.

Actually i played Helm is deep with Doomy if i remember right, and it worked fine. I like that map, i want to see it on the main^^ But of course, another test is needed probably. |

Updated MH-Adventure-Night with the new file. No more buggy spawn.

Played both on Multiplay MH server, they look GREAT, but expect short games with large teams.
MH-Brutes][+ currently stays on Test so that people with performances issues on Main can compare.

Adventure Night has been tested multiple times now.
Me and Killkio played it, no problems encountered.
Demona, Blackwolf and me played it yesterday.
Me and Supa just played it, also no problems in the map.

I hope it still gets on main, because wolfi fell into my trap once again

Nope, its not only the trap. But the trap was the straw that broke the camel's back.
- I died 3 times at the Gasbag part and some other times at other parts.
- everytime I had to run the whole way again to the teleporters
- more than two times I chose the wrong Teleporter and had to run through the finish part. (because you must know(or remember) the colors finish parts, if not, its possible you enter a still finish one)
after minutes of useless running and chosing wrong teleporters. I enter my team and what happens? I run into a trap (even a good player cant see it) fall down and died again
The map looks very nice and the gameparts are really good but the things I wrote here make the maps not to my favorite ones. But I'm not the only one who must like it. Players must choice and want it ;)

I've played.. and i want it on the main
I think it's a nice map. And we can mistake the teleports in many other maps as well... don't make me list:D So it's cool wouldbe nice on the main |

Some extra information:
What the point is
I could have made texts like
yellow teleporter is now active
rede teleporter is now active etc...
Players that enter the map late dont get these messages, so that makes no difference for them.
and I let the teleporters be active so players can explore the map, and if they want the redeemer/udamage/jumpboots.
And when they enter the teleporter area, they can always ask which teleporter they should take.
And when you played it a few times, you'll remember.
So I did that on purpose u see. |

It's possible to guide late players with triggered lights like in NaliC or movers (arrows) like in Andromeda-Ancient or Serenity. |

well well well, all good n nice, BUT, what about some maps older maps from private server? i saw some worth imho to be on main too
ive in mind only 3 for moment but i think i saw more what cud be put on main (again just mo); so its about:
1-ForeverFix - if i remember right r 2 versions of it, so dunno exactly what one, even not the diference between them, anyway 1 of them or even both(??)
2-AndromedaAncient - ye i admit, in this u cud get easily lost (so i personally dont like it too much for that) but i still think its worth for main (i know many liking it more than me, even i heard some ppl who love it O.o)
3-and last one ive in mind for moment ... well ... i dont remember the/its name ... its that what is most part underwater with those squids "2.0" or "2" dont remb. ex. with start in a base with ... especially skaarjs (dont remb. ex. if another monsters too...) n ah, underwater also r many sliths too, but these r on many maps, but squids 2 i personally saw its only on this map ...
1 n 3 i personally like very much, 2 though only played in 3/4-6 ppl, not in too few or too many ppl, cudnt explain right why ...
ah, and about HelmIsDeep, Supa were right, we played it (till end Supa? sry i dont remb. ex. ... is only or u needed leave be4 end?) n found no bug, but weird, that was be4 last fix Supa, so maybe was some problem there what we didnt discovered ... anyway, if now has no bug/problem i love this map (no no no, not for music, that i dont really like it too much but dont really matter that, music; if there still is music in map dunno, i usually play listening to external music ) ) n if i remb. right (ye i repeted myself  "n" times :p) Supa also said once that she love it too (n not only like it); anyway even if not for music but at least it has some of movie atmosphere(?)/ambience ... :D
P.S.1: pls somebody who know what one is 3rd map to post its name here, ill try to find it on private but it cud take my ages to do it
P.S.2: Bobby just told me a bit ago that 1 of those 3 (i dont understood exactly what one) crash the server well then isnt ready for main ... but, pls somebody who can do it to fix it, especially if is about 1st or 3rd one ... (how i already said 2nd one i dont like too much, i only think it cud be put on main too ...)
sry for mistake, Hellfire just told me that 3rd map (UnderwaterAssault) already is on Main; ill modify/short tomorrow this post; still dont understand how i didnt see this map on Main! maybe cos it was never played at least when i was there ... |

First of all, thanks for uploading the new maps to the main , good job I'm happy :D
I have a request. Some time ago... half year:D I suggested some new maps, and you uploaded to the privat server but never to the main. Maybe they need to be tested again. Maybe uploading to this new mapper server?
And i checked the maplist of the privat and i want to see these 2 maps on the main as well:
-Asmodeus Aions - there are 2 versions on the privat i forgot which one is the good but i played that 100000000 times and no problem with it
-Monsters of the carribean - when we played it, many people liked i'm not sure if it has bugs or any problems, can't remember. but it's not something i can play alone
And from my suggestions...
- Glacialis_beta - i played this elsewhere also 100000 times, i think its a very nice map, give it a try!
- golgothaAL fix - also 2 versions on the privat.. one of them must work:D
- Iphigeneia - haven't played on dU, but elsewhere i have, and also no problem,.
All of these you can find on the privat... so either test there or upload to the mapping server |

1- Already on main.
2- Used to be on main. Crashes the server.
3- Already on main. And I want it removed. I like it, but it plays awfully bad in the whole second half and consistently gets everyone leaving. It's a challenge and private map.

- Asmodeus is fine. Would just need to ask Elem / Blood Asp which version is the newest.
- Monsters of the Carribean not played. All I can say is I hate THUNDERBOLT maps, because they're not good enough to be worth the 30, 40, sometimes 60Mb download files (the average total filesize of a MH map is around 5Mb). All THUNDERBOLT maps taken together would weight as much in the server files that all other maps combined, minus LastVoyage and WASTED. This is horrible for players with small connections or who don't play regularly.
l'lI have to upload them anyway if people want it...
- Glacialis_beta noticed 2 days ago, along with Sky_Isles. Does it end?
- Golgotha should be fine.
- Iphigenia was really a "small team" map, if I remember well. Would need to try it again.
EDIT: updated ShootingGuys with a Queens fix that stops telefragging, plus another little fix of the monster part just before that to block the sky over the monsters, so that from now on players don't need to keep a spare redeemer in case a monster jumped up to the wall during the fight. |
