I play mh 'cause I like diversity it offers and it's a nice break from pvp ^^

I didn't make the same topic twice. Well, not on this forum... but as I assume you mean the one on Hermskii's as well, for the widest range of responses.

Not exactly, I mean i strived to go for something different.

The other one, the "sense of MH" seemed to be more about what people thought the purpose of MH was, teamplay focused mostly.

My question isn't about what it's about; it's why people love to play it... and given i supplied a silly answer at the top I was kind of thinking / hoping people might go a lil' silly in their responses too.

Well here is my opinion to get back on topic.


I play for the maps itself to get inspired and be amazed.  I want to get the play the map as it should be and share the feeling that the mapper has intented for us to have. Having a watchfull eye to notice the time he or she has spent to make certain things.  It stimulates the mapping attitude too.
So basicly, I don't care about score and the monsters themselves. I care about the world they are placed in, thats why I play MH.

That was interesting.
- About 1:19 until got on topic, intro was kinda wonky.
- Mix of amusement and fear during the rest.
- Would've been better with a visual component. Could picture you as someone that talks with their hands in a flamboyant manner.
