I have created a simple tutorial-map base on how to use counters and triggering events.
Nothing advanced, just a simple walkthrough on how they work.  

Open the map in the editor and see how I configured every thing.

I think posting here would be close enough to what I'm looking for.

I see that there are objectives here, and I wonder if there is a way to link those to open a door/mover? How would that be set up?

I wrote myself about 30-40 pages of notes and how to do stuff for mapping... I now use the notebook to write college and work stuff in xD

Well first you need to know how to create an actual mover. If you know this, good, if not,  good too.


But in essence is it to place the trigger in the proximity of the pickup / weapons. If you want a clear and short answer.
And set the trigger to TriggerOnceOnly in the mover options. Then the mover stays at the last keypoint, unless you want to deliberately pickup something / hit something.

I'm showing either way. In the same map I will create more advanced stuff! Next video coming later..

Note :
- Bdynamiclightmover is optional, I check it always - anyways.
- It makes sure the moving mover is getting dynamically get the present lights moving from A to B.
- OBS studio is having some problems with UT, please ignore the twitching / spastic windows taskbar.

On keypoint 1, you can make the position ANY.  as long you can walk through :Zwinker:
