I broke my DirectX video card and my onboard is buggy. So i tried a glide driver, not working but the graphics were better than DirectX. I forgot over the years that UT is supposed to be played with a 3dfx card. At least to have that "old feeling" to it because many of us prolly played it with 3dfx cards like 10 years ago and it's not the same look at all.

So i thought, it's not because we have modern computers that we can't put an old Voodoo PCI in it. They might not have AGP slots anymore (replaced with PCI-E) but we still have PCI.

So i looked on ebay... 5$??? Some Voodoo cards sell as high as 300$. Even a diamond monster 3D is selling at 80$. They know they're 3dfx-enabled for older games.

I found one somewhere at 40$, i'm just saying not to throw them away so quickly if you have some, especially if they're PCI.
