New features on private server (207 + 210) *RELEASED*

These are the new features on the private server to look out for:

- Adjust radar 'blip' size depending on the draw scale.
- Perfect map Bonus. (Teamscore will be XX% more if 0 Monsters left).
- TEAMRECORD sound will now always be played and not cut short by other sounds.
- double weapon bug is now detected and punished.
- Two new sounds (org. UT Announcer.uax : takenlead & lostlead  for getting and lost Teamscore ingame).
- Limit creature factories to 500 monsters max.

Updated 30/12/10:

- MapCounter starts after mapchange bust should be start after Start Countdown.
- Timer for Random Weapon and Health starts after map start.
- Respawn of Relics starts after map start.
- Monsterleft shows creature factories monsters too.
- Scoreboard Perfect Map Bonus change to :  (Includes XXXX perfect map bonus!!).
- Perfect Map Sounds (if 0 monsters left).
- display the Monstertyp and Health only for monsters which are aimed at. (same if you see player info if you aim him).
- Remove the "MonsterHunt with DUMH Mutator, Hunt with your Teammates to.. " to stop it hiding the countdown timer.
- Changed the font from the game start countdown to a slightly larger one.
- Remove the skull from the score texture so the score can be seen more easily.
- Other Color for "Spectators:"  text (dark blue is heavy to see/read).
- HUD Playeroverview under the line at the bottom something like :

- 'friendly' pawns e.g. cows and nalis are now shown on the radar as a different (yellow) colour.

The Redeemer (Alt fire) still crashes me, my screen is freezing and when I let it explode I kill myself  wallbash

The deemer crashing problem should be fixed now :)

I noticed something odd with the UT cache files. I had the dumhv5_207.u file in my cache, but it decided it didnt want to download the newer version and just used the one i had in my cache :S

So if you still get any crashes, then go into your cache.ini and delete any lines with dumhv5_207.u in them and then it will download a fresh copy from the server.

All of the new mods currently runing on private are soon to be put onto the main server. If you have seen any problems or are getting any specific crashes on the private server then please post so I can look at them before it goes on main.

Also, I just noticed that the NaliFruits won't heal over 100. Should be 350 like the other health items.

About the older change with melee attack range, could you reduce it a little? Now in MABOROSHI it's just impossble to run away from the big Slith. He still punches you when you dodge backwards and you can't even hide behind the pillars anymore either.
A little bonus range is fine because the default setting is really too easy, but currently this is too much lol.

Nice job with the start timer fixing. And I like the yellow dots idea for friendly creatures for some reason.  Razz

This is part of heavy monsters so yeah I will take a look once the main releases are done :)

I have to complain about the NemesisWingsX new jets:
- you run out of fuel twice faster than with the RocketX;
- you can not grab the fuel cores anymore; actually they damage your hull like if they're solid objects;
- some monsters (Skaarj Troopers) can grab a WingsX Launcher dropped by a killed player, and use it against you, plus if you kill them your UT may crash with a weird error message (I don't have a screenshot of the error message cause it didn't happen to me so far)

I agree with Pots, please don't use the new planes on the main server. They look nice and have some nice features but the old ones are better!

Yep we will stick with the current planes on main. The ones on private were for a test to see what everyone thought of them.

Jep, for testing it was nice but to many bugs avaible with monsterhunt. Its better to use the old ones.
Perhaps possible Bob has later a bit time and looks at the code to see why very big monsters are impossible to hit ;)
