Hi

I was wondering what kind of music the people like when they are playing online, especially the main server.

I barely put original Unreal/UT music in MH maps, because I think they are such unbelievable nice songs that only should be used in CTF/DM/AS and SP maps. Unless the style of map fits perfectly with the mood of song. Using Digx.umx for unreal-mine maps and fifth.umx for creepy deserted na-pali villages and Chizra.umx for deep relaxing moods while swimming through underwater tubes in temples on your own.

Using different non-unreal songs keeps certain gameplays in map refreshing I think, especially online. Using such beautiful songs as in Unreal singeplayer online while hearing but boom and gatling sounds would kill the music atmosphere.

Then there is also the opposite fact that people might like custom music over hearing standard music over and over again, or just turn the UT music volume down and listen to their own music.

The reasing I'm asking this if people would like to hear more the standard music U/UT provides, custom but like the same feeling as used in game by default or the type of custom music me and other mappers provided so far.

I'd like to try something new in CM4 and hope people like it, - the music. maybe 2 edtions if people prefer:  A version that uses a bit the same theme as CM3  when the boats part starts and one that has standard but also nice music.

What is your opinion people? I'd love to  hear :D

Hardcore, intense, club music.

I managed to get ahold of a site, though I'd have to hunt for the link, that's got White Zombie songs in .umx format.
