When flying with books and boxes was discovered I thought people would eventually grow bored of it and go back to playing normally but apparently not.
In particular it seems that EEE_PC is still purposedly voting Arden, RuinsBridge and SkyTown to spread the word on how to shortcut them.
It's fun once in a while and that's why I thought it could be left as is but apparently he's at it every time now.

Should something be done about this? Can be solved through editing either the maps or the mutator.


PS:
One reason I didn't want to deal with this earlier was that it's annoying to get rid of a fun glitch because of some abusers.
- Entire removal would mean no more fun for anyone.
- Staff moderation (warnings/kicks/bans) only works when staff is around.
- Having 2 versions of the maps seems excessive.
All in all I see no good solution to this. >_>

It's a good thing they keep the server populated, so more people tend to join, although you can't really stop stem from making the action again.

I suggest fixing the maps is the best idea in this case. But I'm busy at the moment. Someone else ( you) feels up doing it?

I've been around but focusing on other projects (having a break with those now). I'm terribad at doing multiple things at the same time.
Glad to see it's business as usual here.  Razz

Btw I lost my pw to the Mapping server ftp (my first dead hard drive Very Happy1), and I noticed just now that my PM inbox has been full since late 2015, so if anyone tried to PM me I guess I got nothing sorry.

Fixing the maps, means  -- 1 stays , 1 goes in terms of main server....  The fixed version would be more preferable imho. It solved your problem and probably others too, whats there to lose?

I mean if you only keep the fixed version you can't use the glitch at all (for fun that is).
And if you keep both versions you have 2 maps multiple times with just a tiny difference.

Maybe keeping the original map on Crazy & Private and the fixed version on other servers could do it? Though I don't even know if you can find Rippers on Crazy lol.

Get rid of the "cheat versions" and replace them all with the fixed version.

I'm not active at the moment, but, I've seen him do this on multiple occasions in the past, and it seems that it is still happening.

This needs to stop.
