About the movie:
6 humans wake up in a deadly maze. The shape is one big cube with only one way out. To find this exit they must crack an extremely difficult code with numbers that are displayed on every gate.
In the total cube are more than 17.000 inner cubes. If they enter just 1 wrong cube they are dead. They are doomed forever unless they crack the code before they are weak to go on.
Walkthrough:
In 4 four(random)rooms are buttons placed. You must trigger the four buttons in order to open the final doors.
When the final doors are open you can take the lift to get back on top. The final room is placed in corner of the map.
The rooms which have these triggers have a PURPLE / PINK color. There are also 2 rooms with cyan dancelight, to know that you are in the left or right corner of the map.
When you enter a wrong room you will be depressurised... or crushed by a mover .... or incinerated by lava.... or sliced into pieces by 40 inch spikes.
You will find out very quickly which colour room is deadly and which colour is save.
And there is also one very nice surprise when you have found the exit

I did that already 7 years ago, with the same textures at that (that's... a common theme with UT really, I'm surprised you haven't had your "cube phase" at this point).
There's no gameplay for multiplayer besides mindfucking everyone with warp zones (since the engine isn't able to handle the concept with movers), so it didn't last long.
In MH you surely have more freedom to make interesting things however. |

Well I already hate the GlassCoop map so it won't be my type of map I would play.
Idea is nice and I did see the movie, it was cool.
I think it could be a nice map for the Challenge servers (1-2) players, sort of a time run and you can't make mistakes. |

I will not make the map too big.
Made 8 rows x 8 collums . That makes a total 64 rooms.
And every room color has a specific meaning.... for example
Red rooms are trapped
Blue rooms are save rooms and green gravity change or something.
And yes perhaps for the challenge server it is a good idea.. but it actually also fits on main when you have small teams.
So this it is not only about your score, but you must also use your brain to end the map  |

i admit, i think i dont watched the movie (im not 100% sure tho ... k ill look for it on web when ill be in mood) so cannt say many about map also, but i still have a question: once u'll learn the map, u'll know what rooms r good/save what arent ... what reason u'll have to play it again? maybe i missed someth. well maybe i shud see the map first, be4 as i can say anything ... sry if any mistake ... (i'll MODIFY this post depending on what ill get from map ... ) |

I think that not much players will play it, but this map is an ULTIMATE challenge for die hard UT challenge players.
And that is what it makes fun to play it again.... you are playing for HOURS if you continously choose the wrong room. Survival of the fittest

edit: but, what about to change (dont swear me for that Bobby ) from time to time "bad" and "good" colors, or even all, as to be more "playable"? i mean to be enjoyed again and again (how i said above, once u learn "good" and "bad" colors ....); ahh, and if is about 'remodify' and reupload the map ... u can tell Bob (for ex., or Wolfi, doesnt matter who ...) what to change in map, as it to not be reupload repetedily ... (thats why i said above "dont swear me ...)
ahh, still not uploaded anywhere? ( (not even on test/mapping server?) i usually hate to play in single once i havent a good mutator (i dont like UTJMH or how th is called ... ), that remember me why i said on previuos post about a possible mistake, the map is also with monsters or not? it hought then that it is without monsters thats why i said that once u learn colors u wont play it again, but if it is with monsters tho, then ... |
